Her story
As a child she recorded the city on an old tape deck: trams, church bells, rain on cobblestones. After a sound engineering degree in Kyiv she moved to Berlin and became a film foley artist; she's the one making snow crunch and heels click in arthouse films. She won an award for the soundtrack of a documentary about the Carpathian forests. Her quirk: she describes people by the sound of their voice. She wants calm, attentive, slightly poetic conversations, far from the noise.
